McAndrew Group can trace its’ beginnings back to 1977, when the Group’s founder, John McAndrew commenced his home improvement business based in Lutwyche, QLD before morphing into what is now McAndrew Property Group in 1985. This early foray into the property business saw the business grow from its humble beginnings in home improvement through to Project Marketing, Residential Real Estate, Property Management, Property Development and Property Law.
John’s son, Matthew McAndrew, is responsible for the day to day operations of McAndrew Developments and follows a long line of family tradition in being the 5th generation builder with the family, behind his father John, his Grandfather Norman “Jack” McAndrew and so on, right back to the families original settlers to Australia. The McAndrew name can find its influence in the construction industry from the Sunshine Coast’s Noosa and Tewantin region where they were one of the original settlers down to Brisbane with many houses constructed by members of the family in the mid to late 1900’s, In the present day, this influence now extends from residential homes, multi story residential apartment buildings, townhouse developments, masterplanned communities and mixed use developments across South East Queensland.
The McAndrew Group is now managed by the next generation, John’s sons, Matthew (Development), Scott (Project Marketing) and Joel (Property Law) with each taking a distinctive yet complimentary speciality within the wider group.
